Decision made on consent of the parties
[1] The Applicant applied for a Canada Pension Plan disability pension based on a serious injury to her arm. She was granted a disability pension in a decision of the General Division of this Tribunal. This decision was accepted by both parties.
[2] After the disability pension began to be paid to the Applicant, she turned 65 years of age. The Respondent replaced the Applicant’s Canada Pension Plan disability pension with a Canada Pension Plan retirement pension. It is this decision that she appeals, seeking continuation of her disability pension payment after the date she turned 65.
[3] Counsel for the Respondent submitted that this matter should be placed before the General Division of this Tribunal, as the Tribunal has not made a decision regarding the decision being appealed. The Applicant agrees.
[4] For these reasons, the matter is referred to the General Division of the Social Security Tribunal for adjudication.
